Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank confirmed Wednesday that she and husband Philip Schneider are expecting twins.
“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” Swank told “Good Morning America,” adding, “And not just of one but of two. I can’t believe it.”
Swank, 48, and Schneider have been married for four years after meeting on a 2016 blind date and getting engaged a year-and-a-half later, Today reported.
Swank appeared on “Live with Kelly and Ryan” shortly after her GMA interview, confirming she is in her second trimester and saying of her pregnancy, “I’m feeling great right now, even with the time — you know, I’m on Pacific time, so I’m a little cross-eyed with that. But I’m feeling good right now,” People magazine reported.
The “Million Dollar Baby” actress also confirmed that twins run in both her family and Schneider’s, the entertainment news outlet reported.
“It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable,” she said.
The “Boys Don’t Cry” actress previously married actor Chad Lowe in 1997, but the couple divorced after 10 years, according to Today.
