Swifties may have a glimmer of hope in getting tickets for the upcoming Taylor Swift “Eras” tour.
Ticketmaster alerted select fans, who had been designated as Swift’s verified fans, that they would have an opportunity to purchase tickets after they were unable to do so during the primary sale.
All fans who were lucky enough to be chosen for the second sale were notified by email Monday. They will get another invitation for the opportunity to purchase tickets before Dec. 23, but the invitations will be staggered according to tour dates.
Ticketmaster will send hopeful Swift fans an email summarizing their request, but credit cards won’t be charged until after the request window has closed and the request has been confirmed.
People who are able to secure tickets will then get instructions to access them and to link them in Ticketmaster’s app.
If there are no tickets available in the price range requested, the credit card will not be charged.

Some fans of the singer-songwriter have sued Ticketmaster, accusing the company of fraud, misrepresentation and antitrust violations, The Washington Post reported.
People trying to buy tickets for the “Eras” tour had difficulties completing their purchases and were unable to get the much-desired passes.
Tickets first went on presale on Nov. 15 for those who were part of the verified program, but shortly after the presale began, fans complained about issues, with some having to wait in an online queue for more than five hours, according to Entertainment Weekly. Location-specific ticket sales and other early access presales were later delayed.
