Randy Gonzalez, the father of the TikTok duo Enkyboys, died Wednesday of colon cancer, his brother confirmed. He was 35.

David Gonzalez told CBS News that his brother was placed in hospice care last week.

TMZ was the first outlet to report Randy Gonzalez’s death.

David Gonzalez also confirmed his brother’s death in an Instagram post.

“My brother may you Rest In Peace I love you always and forever,” David Gonzalez wrote.

Randy Gonzalez, who lived in Alvin, Texas, was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2021 and revealed it publicly in April 2022, KTRK-TV reported. He said that doctors gave him two to three years to live, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

As the father of the popular TikTok duo, Gonzalez and his 7-year-old son, Brice, became viral stars beginning in November 2019 for their funny lip-sync videos on the social media platform, according to People. The pair also included other family members and had more than 15 million followers on TikTok, CBS News reported.

Randy Gonzalez’s latest health update came in December, when he told his TikTok viewers that he had to change his chemotherapy treatments despite feeling well.

Brice Gonzalez landed a role on the sitcom “Lopez vs. Lopez,” according to IMDb.com. He played the grandson to series star George Lopez.

Lopez sent his condolences to the Gonzalez family in an Instagram post on Thursday.

“My sincerest condolences to Brice and the entire Gonzalez family. The love and the bond Randy had for his son and his family was undeniable, you can see it in every video,“ Lopez wrote. “He will be missed, but never forgotten. My heart goes out to the entire family. Dios te bendiga.”
