SD Biosensor, Inc. has voluntarily recalled its Standard Q COVID-19 Ag Home Tests because the tests were illegally imported into the U.S., the FDA announced.

The tests are “not authorized, cleared or approved” by the FDA for distribution or use in the U.S.

The agency said there is no known distribution of the tests directly to consumers. The company did issue the request “out of an abundance of caution.”

The FDA said consumers who do have the tests should discard them and not use them. If you have used them, you may want to consider getting retested with an FDA-authorized one.

SD Biosensor, Inc. said it is taking “appropriate measures” to make sure that the tests are not illegally imported into the U.S.
