The folk artist inked a deal with Sony for the rights to his recorded music catalog, Sony announced Monday, CNBC reported.

“Columbia Records and Rob Stringer have been nothing but good to me for many, many years and a whole lot of records,” Dylan said in a statement. “I’m glad that all my recordings can stay where they belong.”

The deal includes all previous albums that Dylan released all the way back to 1962, CNBC reported.

The agreement was reached last July and is worth between $150 million and $200 million, Variety reported.

Dylan had already sold his song catalog to Universal Music Publishing in 2020 for an estimated $400 million, BBC News reported. That agreement covered Dylan’s lyrics and compositions.

He also donated his personal archives to the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa. The center is scheduled to open this year, KOKI reported.

It will “house and exhibit more than 100,000 exclusive cultural treasures created and owned by Dylan over seven decades, including original manuscripts, unreleased recordings, unseen film performances, photos and more.”
