LOS ANGELES — Actress Annie Wersching, who had roles in the television dramas “24″ and “Bosch,” died Sunday in Los Angeles. She was 45.
Wersching died after a two-year battle with cancer, a representative for the actress told The Hollywood Reporter. Her death was also confirmed through a GoFundMe campaign that was started to receive financial support for the actress’ family, Variety reported.
In a statement, her husband, Stephen Full, paid tribute to the mother of their three children.
“There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it,” Full said in a statement. “She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wersching most recently had roles on “Star Trek: Picard,” where she played the Borg Queen, and on “The Rookie,” where she appeared as Rosalind Dyer, a murderer who escapes prison.
Born in St. Louis in 1977, Wersching’s first screen credit came when she was 24 when she appeared in a 2002 episode of “Star Trek: Enterprise,” Variety reported. Other credits included roles on “Frasier,” “Supernatural” and “Charmed.”
Wersching also had a recurring role as Amelia Joffe in “General Hospital” and appeared in 37 episodes of “24″ as Renee Walker in 2009 and 2010.

She also appeared in “Runaways” and had appeared in the video game version of HBO’s drama, “The Last of Us,” Deadline reported.
“My heart is broken in more pieces than I can count,” Jon Cassar, director and producer of “24,” said in a statement. “Annie came into my world with an open heart and a contagious smile. Brandishing such talent, she took my breath away. Annie became more than a workmate, she became a real friend to me, my family and every cast and crew member that worked with her. She’ll be truly missed by them and the fans she always found time to interact with. Annie you’ll be missed, you left your mark, and we’re all the better for it.”
According to Variety, Wersching is survived by her husband and three sons: Eddie, 12; Ozzie, 9; and Archie, 4.
