Actress Alicia Silverstone is baring all to help animals.
The “Batman & Robin” star is showing her support for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals by posing nude for the animal rights group to protest animal leather.
In an ad for PETA, Silverstone, 46, wears nothing but a pair of cowboy boots, standing in the desert surrounded by cactuses, Entertainment Tonight reported.
“I never, ever, get naked in TV, in film, nothin’, never, nope!” Silverstone says in the video, which was released on Tuesday. “But I’ve done it for PETA because that’s how much it matters to me.”
According to CNN, the PETA campaign urges people not to use animal leather, using the slogan, “Wear Vegan. Buy cactus, mushroom or apple leather instead!”
“If it takes me (to) get naked for you to care about animals, then that is what I’m after,” Silverstone says in the video.
Silverstone, who is a vegan, also posed nude for PETA in the organization’s 2020 campaign against eating meat, CNN reported.
The video includes behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Silverstone ends the video with PETA’s slogan, “I’d rather go naked than wear animals.”
