NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — A woman in her late twenties was shot after an overnight argument in New Town, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

According to police, they were dispatched to a local hospital around 1 a.m. because a woman had been shot in the foot.
The victim told police she was shot at the Advanced Auto Parts on Kings Road.
JSO said the victim was heading back to her car and got into an argument with “the suspect who she does know.” During the argument, the suspect shot the victim.
The suspect fled the scene.
