Jacksonville, FL — An apparent drive-by shooting in Jacksonville’s Allendale neighborhood leaves one woman dead.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says around 2 am Friday, officers and Jacksonville Fire and Rescue arrived at the home on West 18th Street, when they found a woman suffering from several gunshot wounds. She died at the scene.
JSO says it appears the victim was inside the home when at least one round came through a window, striking her. Another adult and two children were also inside at the time.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence. JSO says there is no suspect information at this time.
