Weather pattern to turn wetter, stormier this week

Jacksonville, Fl — The last week of April is looking wet overall. Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma says today starts partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures just below average in the upper 70s. Showers are most likely to develop south of I-10.

Tuesday looks partly sunny and comfortably mild in the upper 70s. A few showers are possible.

Mid-week is when rainfall begins to pick up in coverage. Expect showers and storms with lots of cloud cover and temperatures near 80 degrees.

Thursday looks wet as well and temperatures near average in the upper 70s.

Friday is also cloudy with a few showers and storms likely. Temperatures will be in the low 80s.
