Jacksonville, Fl — As offices resume full staffing after the holiday season, temperatures are unseasonably warm. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says morning fog burns off and the afternoon is going to be mostly sunny.
Temperatures should climb to the low 80s, our first 80 degree day of 2023 and continuing a nearly six-year trend of at least one 80 degree day every month.

Tonight we’re not likely to see as much fog develop. Wednesday is looking like the warmest day of the week with partly sunny skies and temperatures near 83 degrees.
Our first cold front of 2023 arrives tomorrow night into Thursday. A few showers and storms will arrive ahead of that front Wednesday afternoon/evening and linger into Thursday. Temperatures won’t be as warm, in the mid-70s.
Friday clears out and turns much cooler with dry air and morning lows in the mid-40s, only climbing to the low-60s with wall-to-wall sunshine.
Saturday is looking just as nice with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-60s. Jaguars tailgating will be comfortably cool ahead of kickoff in the 8 pm hour. Temperatures will be falling from the 50s into the 40s and dry skies.
Sunday and Monday look milder overall and still dry.
