First Alert Weather: Warm, comfortable Tuesday, chilly nights on the way

Jacksonville, Fla. — A cold front is moving through the area this Tuesday morning, bringing cooler temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Despite the chilly start, plentiful sunshine will warm things up, with afternoon highs near 80°F.

Tonight will be cool again, with lows in the 50s inland and the 60s along the beaches, accompanied by a few passing clouds. By Wednesday and Thursday, cooler-than-average temperatures will take hold, with highs near 70°F both days.

Thursday morning will bring the coldest start of the season so far, with temperatures dipping into the upper 40s inland. But don’t worry, temperatures will rebound by the weekend, though gusty onshore winds are expected.
