Two people targeted outside of a Westside grocery store.
Jacksonville police are searching for a black male suspect who allegedly walked around the Tanners Grocery Store off Hipps Road, and started shooting at a 17-year-old and a 24-year-old. One was shot in the arm, another in the abdomen. Both are expected to recover.
The suspect then fled south on Bunion Drive.
JSO won’t say at this time why they do not believe this was a random shooting , but they added that they don’t think the public overall is at risk.
