Jacksonville, FL — More than 110 employers have registered to attend a Tri-Base Job Fair Wednesday in Jacksonville.
The Fleet and Family Support Centers for Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Naval Station Mayport, and Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay are holding the event, which will take place from 9AM to 2PM at the Morocco Shrine Center at 3800 St. Johns Bluff Road South.
“It’s a really big event- one of our biggest as far as people actually showing up for the event as far as companies, so we’re really excited about that,” says NAS Jacksonville Fleet and Family Support Center Family Life Specialist Paul Alen Stewart.
Some companies will be conducting interviews or giving exams on site, so Stewart is encouraging attendees to “dress for success”. He also recommends researching companies you may be interested in applying with, so you can tailor your resume to that specific position.
The jobs are open to all transitioning military, as well as retired service members, veterans, reservists, and their spouses and family members. Community resources and education and training programs will also be represented.
