Jacksonville, FL — The traffic shift which was supposed to happen before the Monday morning commute is now delayed at least a day. The Florida Department of Transportation says the shift past Gate Parkway on the East Beltway north couldn't happen because of the weather overnight Monday. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh said this morning would have some light rain a drizzle, but ultimately wouldn't be a washout.
FDOT says they expect the shift will happen Tuesday morning between midnight and 6 if the weather cooperates this time.
