JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An ambulance was burned in a fire on the Southside on Tuesday afternoon.
It happened on Philips Highway near University Boulevard.

A viewer sent Action News Jax photos from the area and smoke and flames could be seen shooting into the air.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to extinguish the fire.
Action News Jax reached out to the ambulance company, Century Ambulance, to find out if anyone was injured and how the fire happened.
