Tim Deegan has been sentenced to 12 months probation in a plea agreement over a DUI charge.
First Coast News reports its chief meteorologist will have his license suspended for six months.
The 54-year-old long-time Jacksonville meteorologist had first pleaded not guilty to DUI and running a stop sign but later changed his plea to no contest.
First Coast News reports Deegan must also pay court costs and fines of $1,031 and attend DUI school. It is not clear when Deegan will be back on TV.
Deegan was arrested in Jacksonville Beach in early November.
