Three people pulled from house fire on Jacksonville’s northside

Jacksonville, FL — Three people were pulled from a burning home in the Sherwood Forest area on the Northside early today.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue was called to Spottswood Road, near Rutledge Pearson Elementary School, around 5 a.m.  Within minutes, JFRD reported that three occupants had been pulled from the house and the fire was under control.

All three people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to JFRD. The state fire marshal has been called in to investigate, however the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
