The Blue Angels are in town! What you need to know if you're going to the NAS Jax Air Show

Jacksonville, FL — It's gearing up to be a very active weekend in Jacksonville, with a series of event surrounding the annual Georgia-Florida game at TIAA Bank Field.

But even if football isn't your thing, The Blue Angels will be in town!

Naval Air Station Jacksonville is hosting an air show this weekend, with shows on Saturday, October 27th, and Sunday, October 28th.

On Saturday, the gates will open at 9 AM, with the show beginning at 10 AM. The Blue Angels will then perform at 12:30 PM, with an abbreviated second show at 3:00 PM.

On Sunday, the gates will again open at 9 AM, with the show beginning at 10 AM, but The Blue Angels will only be performing once, at 3:00 PM.

During the NAS Jax Air Show, we're told you'll see a variety of military and civilian demonstrations, followed by a grand finale by The Blue Angels. The show will also feature novelty, food, and beverage booths and a free 'Kids Zone' with games and activities.

The event, itself, is free.

If you're planning to attend, it's recommended you bring cash with you and get familiar with a map of the site, pictured below.
