A student brought a gun to school at J.E.B. Stuart Middle Thursday on the Westside.
Duval County Schools tells us students told administrators about the gun. A spokeswoman tells us there were no injuries. Right now, law enforcement is investigating but confirms no students were threatened or harmed.
We're working to learn whether that student could face any possible charges and to how the individual got a hold of the gun.
This is the second time this week a student has brought a gun to Duval County Schools. On Monday, a student brought a gun to Chaffee Trail Elementary.
Last week, a gun was brought to Fletcher High school.
We've reached out to Superintendent Dr. Vitti to inquire whether he will be making any security changes at local schools.
