Jacksonville, FL — Today will be hot and humid with highs in the mid to upper 90’s inland and lower 90’s at the coast. There will be scattered afternoon inland thunderstorms today. Feels-like temps will once again be 105+ inland and 100-103 at the coast.
Friday looks like more widespread rain and storm coverage, possibly all the way to the beaches. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says storms may threaten the pre-show festivities at TIAA Bank Field ahead of The Rolling Stones concert. ‘Prime-time’ for storms will be between 1 and 5pm. The concert starts at 7:30pm and it will be really muggy with temps falling through the 80’s.
This weekend the heat and humidity stick around with highs in the mid 90’s with only a few widely scattered showers and storms. The mid 90’s hang around on Monday. By Tuesday and Wednesday more folks at the beaches should see rain/storms.
If you are tailgating for The Rolling Stones concert tomorrow evening... watch out for some weakening showers/storms in the Metro JAX area. Should be drying up by the time The Stones hit the stage. #FirstAlertWX @WOKVNews pic.twitter.com/9hes0IrysZ

The only relief from the summertime heat is underneath a shower or storm!
