Wednesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a new executive order which urges people to limit their movements outside of their house to only necessary trips. Essential services and activities include going to the grocery store or getting takeout from a restaurant. The order says essential activities can also include attending religious services, taking care of pets, caring for a loved one, or getting outside for walks, bike rides, or any other outdoor activity as long as you maintain social distancing.
The order starts at 12:01AM Friday and will stay in place until the end of April.
