Jacksonville FL — On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced state offices are going to be closed a little longer during the holidays to help give workers more time to spend with their families. State offices will now be closed on Thursday the 23rd and Thursday the 30th.

“Closing state offices on December 23rd and December 30th will provide these employees with well-deserved time to spend the holiday season with their loved ones”. DeSantis says.

These closures will be on top of the regular closers on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
