Starting on Tuesday, January 5th, the St. Johns County Public Library System says it will be extending hours at all facilities.
The SJCPLS released the following breakdown of operating hours:
- The Main Branch, Ponte Vedra Beach Branch, and Southeast Branch libraries will be open from 10 AM-7 PM on Tuesdays, and 10 AM-6 PM, Wednesdays through Fridays.
- The Anastasia Island Branch, Bartram Trail Branch, and Hastings Branch libraries will be open from 10 AM-7 PM on Thursdays, and 10 AM-6 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
- All libraries will be open from 10 AM-3 PM on Saturdays, and remain closed on Sundays and Mondays.
The SJCPLS says the changes are meant to accommodate the needs of working families and students.
In addition, we’re told that the library’s online reference service, Ask a Librarian, is also extending service hours to match all branch library hours.
