He says he's there with the U.S. Conference of Mayors, focusing on how to help veterans on the First Coast and across the country.
"And J.P. Morgan Chase has a 100,000 job initiative to put 100,000 veterans back to work," says Mayor Brown.
Brown says the U.S. Conference of Mayors gathered for a similar luncheon at the Republican National Convention last week.
Brown continued his promise that he will not get involved with the Obama campaign, although he may get involved in some DNC events if time allows. He says he personally covered the expense of traveling to the DNC, and should be back in town Wednesday.
