Jacksonville, Fl — WOKV’s spotlight series on the race for Jacksonville Mayor continues this morning as Daniel Davis joins us in studio at 8:30 am.
A registered Republican, Davis is CEO of the Jax Chamber and a former member of the Florida House and Jacksonville City Council.
A poll just released this week by the University of North Florida Public Opinion Research Lab finds 31% of Republicans are still undecided.

“You can point to the advertising that has gone on between the Davis and the Cumber campaigns as probably some of the big reasons why.”, said Dr. Michael Binder with the UNF-PORL.
Binder says Davis performs best in a head-to-head match-up with Donna Deegan, who leads all candidates in the poll.
