CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — As classes resume Monday in Clay County, some school zone lights are not working due to a technical issue, according to a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page.
The post warns drivers to observe school zone speed limits even though some flashing lights will not be functioning.

“Due to a technical issue, some school zone lights may not be activated and we ask everyone to please drive safely and observe posted school zone speed limits within the school zones regardless of the operation of the flashing lights,” a portion of the sheriff’s office Facebook post states.
