Before you go to cast your ballot in the upcoming city elections, you better be sure your precinct location hasn't changed.
Duval County Supervisor of Elections Mike Hogan says it's actually pretty common for changes to happen for a variety of reasons, and this year there are six precincts on the move.
"Anybody that's in a precinct that's changed, they'll get a new voter information card from us identifying where that new location is," Hogan says.
The Jacksonville City Council had to approve those changes, but now that that's been done the full list of moves has been posted to www.duvalelections.com.
Hogan says they take every precaution to make sure people go to the right place to vote. He says they'll even have staff members posted at the old sites with maps to get the new ones.
"We have 199 sites, and there's always going to be someone that's either moving away or they're no longer interested in being a precinct," Hogan says.
The first city election takes place March 19.
