Directional closures are planned on the Shands Bridge on Friday.

The closures will start at 8 p.m. and are expected to be over by 6 a.m. on Saturday.
This is all so crews can complete maintenance work.
Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
FDOT says drivers should use an alternate route if possible, be careful, and allow more time to reach their destinations.
