Jacksonville, FL — Severe weather Tuesday morning uprooted trees, saturated roads, and sparked fires in NE Florida.
No injuries are reported when a tree fell in a yard on Jacksonville’s westside, on Bryson Drive. The homeowner says he’s luck the tree fell away from the house, where three children were sleeping.
In East Arlington a garage fire was started by a lightning strike on Otterspool Lane. No injuries were reported.
This is incredible. So glad the tree fell this way. Could've destroyed this home. 3 children sleeping inside. @ActionNewsJax #firstalertwx pic.twitter.com/CPICbEV4IE
