All lanes of the I-295 East Beltway were shutdown at 9:20 a.m. due to two separate crashes at Atlantic Blvd. The southbound lanes opened back up shortly after. However northbound traffic was still delayed for over three hours following a semi truck fire.
Hazmat was on scene pumping diesel out from the truck, per JFRD.
Hazmat team is pumping off Diesel from the truck....I295 remains closed for now.
