JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a person they say robbed a bank off Southside Boulevard Monday morning.
Police say the suspect walked into Regions Bank around 9:08 a.m. They indicated to a teller that they had a weapon and left with cash. The bank was still counting how much was taken when police gave an update.
JSO said five employees and one customer were inside the bank during the incident. No one was hurt.
At this time, police said they don’t know the race or gender of the suspect.
The suspect was wearing a black and gray hoodie with red lettering, along with gray gloves and a white N95 mask. The suspect walked away from the scene, but police do not know if they walked south towards the JTB or across the street.

Police are currently canvassing the area for more video and details of the suspect.
