Jacksonville, Fl — We’ll end the week with another round of heavy afternoon thunderstorms, like Thursday they could be around into the evening, with heavy downpours, frequent lightning and isolated hail.
After storms exited on Thursday, the sky lit up with color. From double rainbows to a glowing orange sunset, it was really a spectacular sight.

Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says the weekend will be really hot.
“Temperatures will be into the mid 90′s. Feels-like temperatures well above 100 degrees. We’ll still have some widely scattered thunderstorms develop in the afternoon but they’ll be mainly inland the way it looks, near and west of I-95 and pretty hit and miss”, said Buresh.
Sunday will be hot and storms will be more widely scattered. The pattern remains hot and stormy into next week.
