Jacksonville, FL — A day after a reported bank robbery in East Arlington, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is releasing new surveillance photos in hopes of catching the suspect responsible.
JSO says just before 2:00 pm on Wednesday, the man entered the Bank of America on Monument Road, near McCormick, approached a teller, and then passed a note demanding money.
According to the incident report, the note read "100's, 50's, 20's. You know what this is and what I want." The report also states that the suspect never flashed a gun, but kept moving his right hand as if he was ready to reach into his clothing and pull out a gun.
Police say the man left after getting money from the crash drawer and was last seen fleeing on foot into the Ashbrook Subdivision.
He's described as a black male, 6’0” tall, medium build and complexion. He was wearing a black beanie, a blue hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
