Jacksonville, FL — It’s the end of the line for the carousel in St. Augustine, where countless families made memories through the years. The carousel will be taken to Port Charlotte, which was the wish of its long-time owner and operator.
For 25 years it was a landmark for St. Augustine, but its roots date back to the 1920’s when it was originally built.
“This is a generational thing. It’s been going on for years and grandparents bringing their children their great grandchildren,” Robin Baxter said as she visited the site one final time.
