Jacksonville, FL — As conditions remain dry around Northeast Florida, two brush fires have sparked in Duval County.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and Florida Forest Service of Jacksonville say crews are on scene of two fires at Main Street/US 17 and Yellowbluff Road, north of downtown. The north fire is 100% contained, but the south fire has dropped to about 25% containment at this time, after at one point being at 40% containment.
No structures are currently threatened by the south fire, but crews say it’s bumping up to I-95. They’re asking drivers to use extreme caution.
