NFL insiders: Jags sign Nick Foles

Jacksonville, FL — The move was long-rumored, now multiple NFL insiders are reporting the Jags have officially signed quarterback Nick Foles.

The deal is reportedly four years, $88 million. The Jags have not officially announced the signing yet.

Once everything is official, reports say the Jags will part ways with Blake Bortles. Bortles had struggled to generate offense, even as the defense stood strong. The offensive performance ultimately led Head Coach Doug Marrone to take Bortles out of the starting spot for a couple of games this past season.

The Associated Press reports Foles went 4-1 in the postseason and 6-2 in the regular season over the last two years, when he stood in for Carson Wentz on the Philadelphia Eagles. Foles was also named the 2018 Super Bowl MVP.
