New fee schedule for the Jacksonville Beach Pier starting next year

Jacksonville FL — On Tuesday, the City of Jacksonville released a new fee schedule that will be implemented at the Jacksonville Beach Pier. The city says starting on January 2nd, 2023. There will be daily fees for walking and fishing on the pier. General admission for walking is $2 and fishing will be $5. The city says walking will be $1 for Duval County residents and hotel guests with a hotel key card. It’ll be $4 to fish for those same groups.

Previously, admission to the pier was free.

The hours for the pier will remain the same, 7 AM – 7 PM, and the new management company is Beach Life Rentals.
