NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: Nassau County deputies said he has been found and is safe.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Nassau County man deputies said has undiagnosed dementia.

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said Benjamin Ogburn was last seen early Wednesday just before 1:30 a.m.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said he was previously seen in the 5300 block of Florence Point Drive in Fernandina Beach.

He was wearing a red shirt with stripes and brown khakis when he was last seen.

NCSO said he may be traveling in a 2011 BMW 535i with the Florida tag WJZ8J and could be headed to Tallahassee, Florida.

Ogburn does not have a license or OnStar service.

He is 5 feet and 10 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. If you see him, you’re asked to call the sheriff’s office at 904-225-0331 or dial 911.
