The mother of Lonzie Barton will spend, at least, 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug charges Tuesday in Baker County.
Lonna Barton pled guilty to charges unrelated to the death of her son, Lonzie, in which she already received a five-year sentence for child neglect and lying to police.
Chris Barton, Lonzie's father, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to drug charges and simple battery in jail.
Lonna will not receive credit for time served in the new sentence like she did for charges relating to the death of her son.
The two parents were arrested during a drug sting in Baker County on Sept. 16, after a month-long investigation.
Ruben Ebron, Lonna's boyfriend, pled guilty to aggravated manslaughter of a child, child neglect, lying to police and tampering with evidence, and was sentenced to 20 years in prison for Lonzie's death.
