Jacksonville, FL — Amid a wave of violence, the Jacksonville City Council is considering giving $300,000 in grants to community groups already trying to improve their neighborhoods.
News 104.5 WOKV, Hot 99.5, Power 106.1 and Action News Jax partnered to bring together community leaders, influencers and psychological experts to explore the root causes of violence, conflict resolution, values, and much more.
Next week, we will bring together leaders from Jacksonville, including Mayor Lenny Curry and Sheriff Mike Williams, to explore the efforts already underway and the ideas under consideration to stem the violence.
