We've learned new details about the charges out of Michigan for a lieutenant with the Duval County School Police Department who was arrested this week in Jacksonville.
Sean MacMaster and his stepfather, Larry Orr, are each charged with two counts of sexual assault involving a young minor, according to their arrest warrants out of Michigan.
Orr was arrested in Michigan and is being held without bond because he is a habitual offender, according to the Michigan Attorney General’s Office. Both men had warrants out of Oakland County, Michigan
MacMaster is charged with having vaginal and anal sex with someone under 13 years old, according to his warrant. Orr is facing the same charges. Those charges are from crimes allegedly committed over a span of several years dating back at least three years ago.
Duval County Public Schools says they are monitoring the situation closely and launching their own internal investigation. They say MacMaster will not have any contact with students in Duval pending that investigation.
DCPS says the charges are not for anything that happened in Duval.
