St. Augustine, Fla. — St. Johns County Beach Services is now accepting applications for beach toll attendants. The window for applicants ends on Friday at 3 p.m.
The pay range is $13 to $15.05 per hour. Shifts are five hours long, depending on the weather.
The season begins mid-February and lasts until the end of September.

Toll attendants are responsible for selling vehicle beach access passes and assisting beach visitors.
According to a news release from the county, more than 78,000 daily and annual beach passes were sold in 2024. Proceeds fund law enforcement, marine rescue operations, and maintenance of beach parks and access points.
Anyone interested in applying for the job can visit the St. Johns County Beach Services Office at 901 Pope Road on Jan. 8, 9, and 10, 2025.
