Kaye’s Kids - 12 Days of Christmas and the Ho Ho Hold ‘Em Celebrity Poker Tournament

Mark Kaye and Kayes Kids

Jacksonville — In 2015, Jacksonville’s Mark Kaye of the syndicated Mark Kaye Show, launched his charitable initiative “Kaye’s Kids,” which provides technology and dream gifts to local children battling life-threatening illnesses. Kaye’s Kids is a special times program of Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Inc.

Kaye’s Twelve Days of Christmas will run from December 2 to December 17. Monday through Friday, Kaye will invite a child to his show to surprise the child with a dream gift; be it a set of Legos, a camera, a computer - even a bed that sits upright. The children and their families then share their stories with Mark’s audience.

Kaye describes the children battling life-threatening illnesses as brave.

“When dreams are fulfilled, their illnesses and struggles do not end,” he said. “For that reason, Dreams Come True developed Special Times, providing children and their families a time to momentarily forget the realities of life.”

Kaye’s Kids is a Special Times initiative in partnership with Mark and Pam Kaye that donates special gifts to dream children. Kaye said that it’s important to remind children and their families that they are special and loved.

“Special Times is a constant reminder both before and after a dream is fulfilled,” he said.

To date, the Kaye’s Kids Special Time has brought joy to over 145 kids in Northeast Florida.
