JTA offers options for getting to and from Florida-Georgia game

JTA increasing fares starting Sept. 30, 2019

The stadium lots at TIAA Bank Field are all sold out for this weekend’s Florida-Georgia football game, but you have some other options available if you’re looking to get to the game.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority has you covered on Saturday with the Gameday Xpress with service from five park-and-ride locations.

If you’re looking to park downtown, the options are the Kings Avenue Station on the Southbank or the lot at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. Passes for those lots are $8 if you use the MyJTA app or $9 without the app.

Anyone looking to take the shuttle to the game from suburban lots will have to pay $13 with the app and $14 without it. The lots you can choose from are park-and-ride lots at JTB and Philips Highway or the one at Armsdale Park on the Northside. If you live at the beaches there’s a lot near Wingate Park on Penman Road.

The Gameday Xpress will start running at 12:30 p.m. and will resume for one hour after the game. JTA says continuous service is only available at the Convention Center Lot.
