JTA now offering new e-Ticketing options using app

Jacksonville, FL — Gone are the days of needing exact change-- the Jacksonville Transportation Authority is announcing new e-Ticketing options.

JTA says customers will be able to purchase and activate these tickets through the MyJTA app and pay for them using a credit or debit card.

Customers will be able to pick between single ride tickets, 1-day, 3-day and now 7-day and 31-day e-tickets using the app. Fares for the St. Johns River Ferry and the Gameday Xpress are also available.

We're told JTA buses have been upgraded with mobile ticketing scanners to help speed up the boarding process.
