JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office arrests 68-year-old Raney Richardson Sr. for capital sexual assault in a 1989 crime.
Detectives from JSO’s Special Assault Unit have reason to believe that Richardson may have harmed more victims, due to the fact he had access to children during the time of the original incident in 1989.
Richardson is currently in custody after officers obtained an arrest warrant on October 4, 2022 according to a JSO press release.
