Jacksonville, FL — A 19-year-old man is now facing multiple charges, after the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says he opened fire on an unmarked police vehicle with multiple officers and an FBI agent inside.
According to JSO, they were in the area of 13th Street and Connally Avenue in Northwest Jacksonville, Wednesday evening, when they spotted a man clearly gripping a handgun in his pocket.
When officers attempted to approach the man, JSO says he opened fire on the officers, shooting multiple times. An FBI agent in the car was able to return gunfire.
The suspect then took off running, but was later found during an extensive manhunt of the area. Police say the gun was also recovered at that time.
The man has now been identified by police as Cleveland Rolack, 19. He's being charged with three counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Neither the suspect, nor the officers were hurt in this incident.
