Jacksonville FL — Jacksonville Police are actively investigating after a woman shot and killed a man who she said tried to break into her apartment on the Westside. JSO says they received multiple calls about gunfire on Catoma St. near Timuquana Rd. early Wednesday morning. While police were responding, a caller told them she shot someone that broke into her apartment. JSO says when they got to the unit that woman told them the man was still inside and police found him on floor near the master bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
JSO says they’re not looking for any other suspects connected to this incident.
