Jacksonville FL — Late Tuesday the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced Sheriff Mike Williams had tested positive for COVID-19. We’re told he is experiencing minor symptoms and is resting at home. Police say Williams had been vaccinated before testing positive.
Earlier Tuesday, an event was held at JSO headquarters with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, and several others, and a JSO spokesperson tells us Sheriff Williams was not in attendance.
